Dynamic Analysis​

This course provides fundamental concepts of nonlinear dynamic analysis along with practical applications through numerical techniques​

Course Objectives:​

Upon completion of this course, student will be able to:​

  • Understand the basic theory behind Dynamic Analysis​
  • Understand the concepts of Nonlinear dynamics​
  • Use the explicit dynamics method effectively, including the application of contact and mass scaling​
  • Use Abaqus/Explicit and Abaqus/Standard together to solve difficult problems​
  • Model high strain-rate deformation and failure​
  • Apply the concepts to solve practical applications ​
  • To use software as a tool for virtual modeling​
